On October 24, 2026, workers at State Farm Arena in Atlanta completed a rapid changeover of the basketball court between the WNBA Finals and an NBA game. The Dream's court was removed after their Game 4 match against the Golden State Valkyries concluded at 1 PM EDT. Around 2,500 staff members then worked to replace it with the Hawks' court in preparation for the team’s home opener against the Houston Rockets starting at 8:30 PM. The arena's chief facilities officer, Amanda Mann, noted that the changeover involves a "total building reset" from the court to concourses. This unique scheduling was necessitated by the need to accommodate larger crowds and involved adjusting game times to allow for the estimated three to 3 1/2 hours required for the conversion.
