Story summary

In the latest episode of The Celebrity Traitors, comedian James Acaster was unexpectedly banished from the show after admitting he was a Traitor despite wanting to be a Faithful. This admission came during Thursday's roundtable discussion following the murder of actress Sharon Rooney and the earlier banishment of comedian Joanne McNally. The revelation sparked chaos among contestants, with Acaster receiving the most votes for expulsion. After being ousted, Acaster expressed remorse over his forced role as a Traitor, stating he was made one without wanting to be involved in such a capacity. The BBC has since emphasized that contestant welfare is its top priority following the emotional finale.
