Story summary

President Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Daytona Beach, Florida, on October 30, 2026, as the midterms approached. The event aimed to bolster Republican support just days before Election Day on November 3, despite initial cancellations of rallies in Kansas and Iowa due to health concerns. During his speech at around 7 PM, Trump paused momentarily to wipe his eye with a napkin dipped in water, leading to speculation about his health. He later addressed these rumors by saying critics would misinterpret any health precautions as signs of serious illness. The rally was part of Trump's ongoing efforts to encourage voter turnout among his base and push back against economic worries affecting voters.
