On October 30, Selma Blair issued an apology via Instagram for her alleged behavior during a flight from Los Angeles to New York on October 11. The actress was arrested after attempting to open the plane's emergency door and allegedly assaulting flight attendants. In her video statement, Blair expressed regret towards those she had "disappointed," "hurt," or "frightened" but did not provide details about the incident due to ongoing legal proceedings advised by her lawyers. She emphasized that she has never intended to harm anyone in her life. The apology comes weeks after her arrest and follows a statement from her representatives suggesting her actions were due to a medical emergency.
