On October 31, 4 teenagers died and two others suffered life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash near Watson Road S., north of Wellington Road 34 in Puslinch, Ontario, just southwest of Guelph. The incident occurred around 1:35 a.m., and six people were inside the vehicle at the time. Police are investigating whether a lack of seatbelts contributed to the deaths and injuries, as reported by The Canadian Press on November 1. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) described the crash as an "unimaginable tragedy," highlighting the loss of young lives in this rural area.
