Quick Summary

President Donald Trump released a campaign video urging voters to support Republican candidates in the upcoming midterm elections. The video included an unconventional pledge to deliver a "Trump dividend" of $5,000 per person, but explicitly tied this promise to a Republican victory in Tuesday’s polls. This tactic was seen as both a standard presidential appeal for party loyalty and a provocative attempt to influence voter behavior with direct financial incentives.
