Target plans to open eight new stores across the US in states including New York's Hamptons, Ohio, Mississippi, Texas, Virginia, and Tennessee on October 11. The company also revealed a new line of employee uniforms designed by its in-house team with input from fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi, who joined Target as Creative Director At Large last June. Mizrahi has an eponymous fashion brand and previously appeared on "Project Runway All Stars." Additionally, Target aims to invest $6 billion ($1 billion more than initially planned) into building new stores and remodeling existing ones, with the opening of its 2,000th store in March in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.
