Franco Collė, an athlete from the KAILAS FUGA TEAM, won the TOR450 Tor des Géants® race in Italy on September 18, 2026. The event took place in the Aosta Valley and is renowned for its extreme terrain and challenging weather conditions. Collė completed the grueling 450-kilometer trail with a total elevation gain of 32,000 meters in just over five days, finishing in 122 hours, 1 minute, and 57 seconds.
The Tor des Géants® begins and ends in Courmayeur and attracts only 200 runners annually. The race features less-known trails, ridges, and ancient glaciers of the Aosta Valley, drawing participants from around the globe. This year's event was a partnership between the organizers of TORX®, led by President Alessandra Nicloletti, and the Chinese outdoor gear brand KAILAS FUGA.
Nicloletti highlighted that this collaboration has been instrumental in elevating the race’s international profile, fostering respect for mountain environments, endurance sports, and community spirit. The partnership also allowed increased investment in ensuring quality, safety, and hospitality during the event while preserving its unique character.
