Quebec provincial police stopped a 26-year-old man near Boisbriand at around 3 a.m. after he was clocked driving at 184 km/h in an 80 km/h construction zone on Highway 15 north of Montreal. Authorities suspect the driver may have been impaired by alcohol or drugs, though this is unconfirmed. The extremely high speed significantly increases the risk of severe accidents and injuries, especially in a construction area where workers are present.
