Mark Walter, owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, faces a class-action lawsuit filed on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court of Miami by 67-year-old Ira Rosner, represented by Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd law firm. The suit claims Walter and his companies, including Delaware Life Insurance Co., Clear Spring Life and Annuity, TWG Global Holdings, and Guggenheim Partners, failed to disclose an ongoing federal investigation into misrepresented loans made between his business portfolio. Rosner seeks damages for negligent misrepresentation, breach of contract, and aiding and abetting fraud. Walter has been under scrutiny since last year by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the Securities and Exchange Commission following a whistleblower complaint.
