In a stunning turnaround, Cincinnati rallied from a 21-point halftime deficit to defeat Miami (Ohio) 35-31 on Saturday. Cole Tabb sealed the victory with a 53-yard touchdown run with just over a minute left in the game. This was the 129th meeting of the "Battle for the Victory Bell," an historic rivalry that has seen Cincinnati win 18 of the last 19 games. The contest, played at the home stadium of Major League Soccer's FC Cincinnati, marked one of the oldest non-conference rivalries in college football and the fifth-most-played series in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Despite this strong history, the schools are not scheduled to face each other again soon due to scheduling changes.
