World champion Luke Littler, a 19-year-old darts player, threatened to boycott events in the Netherlands after being booed during the World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam. The referee had to intervene to warn the crowd about their behavior towards Littler. This is not the first time he has faced such treatment; similar incidents occurred in Germany, leading him to stop participating in European Tour events there. After his narrow win against Nathan Aspinall and a victory over home favorite Danny Noppert, where he also experienced booing, Littler said that if the Dutch crowd continues this behavior, he will not play in future Dutch tournaments, emphasizing that it is pointless for him to travel and be subjected to such negativity. Littler's threat highlights growing concerns about how his rapid rise in the sport may have turned some fans against him.
