Super Taco is a taqueria located in the CBD of Sydney that operates on minimal cooking equipment, similar to many Mexican street vendors. The restaurant uses only a deep fryer, a grill, and a trompo — a vertical spit introduced to Mexico by Lebanese migrants — to prepare its menu. Super Taco offers four varieties of taco: al pastor (made with pork cooked on the trompo), skirt steak, fried fish, and cauliflower tacos for those avoiding pork. The venue also serves Mexican sparkling water Topo Chico and has a DIY salsa bar.
