Story summary

Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died at a rehab facility in Los Angeles on September 20, 2026. The cause of death has not been released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office but is being investigated as a suspected overdose based on emergency call audio obtained by the Daily Mail. Presley had been open about his struggles with mental health and substance abuse issues, including a near-fatal fentanyl overdose that left him in a coma for several days in 2024.

Presley began modeling at age 15 and worked with top fashion brands like Moschino and Dolce & Gabbana. In 2019, he was arrested for DUI and sentenced to three years of probation and community service. His last public girlfriend, Lexi Wood, paid tribute to him on Instagram, highlighting his kindness and courage in fighting addiction.

The rehab center where Presley died, Resolutions Living in Santa Monica, offers intensive outpatient programs for mental health and addiction recovery. Legal experts advise against assuming liability until the medical examiner completes their investigation into the cause of death. The Gerber family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
