Quick Summary

Jerry Jones, the Dallas Cowboys owner, delivered a playful "dangerous" warning after the team's victory over the Washington Commanders with quarterback Dak Prescott setting a new franchise record for touchdown passes. The win was particularly significant as it came after a weak performance in Week 1 and Jones admitted he would have found it difficult to talk to reporters had the team started 0-2. Dallas now prepares for an international game against the Baltimore Ravens in Brazil.

Story summary

On Sunday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones celebrated his team's victory over the Washington Commanders with a "dangerous" quote, saying, "There is nothing more dangerous than an old man with money," after the 37-20 win in Arlington. This statement came as a follow-up to their season-opening loss to the Giants. Jones, who has an estimated net worth of $23.5 billion, hosted billionaire Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren at AT&T Stadium during the game. The Cowboys' offense performed exceptionally well with quarterback Dak Prescott achieving four touchdown passes, surpassing Tony Romo for most touchdown throws in franchise history (now 249). Jones expressed pride in the team's performance, which was crucial after their disappointing start to the season.
