Braden Peters, better known by his online persona Clavicular, has been charged with rape and drugging in Massachusetts. The charges, filed on September 8, 2026, allege that Peters committed the offenses on May 23, 2025, in Chatham, a town on Cape Cod. He faces one count of rape, one count of drugging someone for sexual intercourse, and one count of providing alcohol to a minor. The rape charge alone carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
Peters gained notoriety as the face of "looksmaxxing," an extreme trend among young men focused on enhancing their physical appearance through risky means such as surgeries or drug use.
