The Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) announced its inaugural all-star game, scheduled for March 7 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, marking the league’s fourth season. Four teams will compete in a 3-on-3 tournament format, which was previously showcased during the NHL All-Star Weekend at the same venue in February 2024. The event, set to air on TSN and Radio Canada for French-speaking audiences, as well as on ION through Scripps Sports for American viewers, aims to highlight established stars and emerging talent. According to PWHL executive vice-president Jayna Hefford, "The 3-on-3 format creates an intense, fast-paced style of play that will produce intriguing matchups." Fans, players, and media members will vote on the starters, with reserves determined by the league itself.
