On Tuesday during a "School of the Wild" field trip at Lake Macbride State Park near Coralville Reservoir, a tragedy unfolded when 10-year-old Ahmed Osman and his 24-year-old teacher Hannah Jorgensen died after an incident in the water. Deputies were alerted shortly after noon on Tuesday to reports of people in distress; first responders recovered an adult victim from the reservoir at 12:43 p.m, who was pronounced dead.
