Kai Trump, the 19-year-old daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and granddaughter of President Donald Trump, suffered a wrist injury on her first day playing for the University of Miami's golf team. The incident occurred during the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, when she hit an unseen piece of concrete beneath the surface while swinging near a cart path.
In an emotional Instagram video, Kai described feeling a “shock” on her arm from hitting the hidden hard surface. Her condition worsened later during another swing with her driver. While initial fears suggested severe damage, tests revealed only minor ligament injury. To avoid extended downtime, she is undergoing stem cell injections by Dr. Jeffrey Weigers.
This setback highlights the high stakes and scrutiny surrounding Kai Trump as a member of a prominent family entering competitive collegiate sports.
