Voters in Quebec began casting their ballots on September 26, 2026, with advance polls open from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m on both Saturday and Monday ahead of the provincial election scheduled for October 5, 2026. Five main parties are expected to compete in this election: the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ), Parti Québécois (PQ), Quebec Liberals, Quebec Conservatives, and Québec solidaire. Concerns over foreign interference, particularly from Americans supporting the sovereigntist PQ, were raised by CAQ leader Christine Fréchette, although her rivals dismissed these claims as speculative without concrete evidence of actual interference.
