Story summary

In an interview on The Bulwark's live video broadcast, former Trump White House deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews discussed the chaotic state of the White House, noting that it is experiencing significant losses and has become confrontational with media outlets. According to Matthews, advisors are reluctant to contradict President Trump, which she believes contributes to an environment where decisions might become even more reckless post-midterms. Additionally, Republicans have started distancing themselves from Trump due to his recent actions and rhetoric.
