On September 28, 2026, Energy Income Fund (TSX – ENI.UN) announced that unitholders can redeem up to 253,384 units by November 27, 2026. Each unit will be redeemed at an amount equal to the net asset value minus redemption costs of 5% of net asset value per Unit plus applicable taxes. The rules for this process are detailed in the Fund’s declaration of trust available on SEDAR+. If more units than allowed are requested, a pro rata basis will determine which units get redeemed. This move aims to manage liquidity and ensure fair distribution among unitholders.
