Pat Bryant, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, admitted on Sunday night that he exaggerated a controversial play against the Los Angeles Rams to get a pass interference call. During the fourth quarter, Josh Wallace, a cornerback from the Rams, intercepted a pass intended for Bryant along the sideline. Instead of the interception sealing the game for the Rams, the officials penalized Wallace for pass interference after what Bryant described as "selling" the contact with Wallace. This penalty allowed the Broncos to continue their drive and ultimately score a touchdown that secured their 30-26 victory over the Rams. Bryant later clarified that although he felt pushed by Wallace, he recognized it as either illegal contact or pass interference and chose to emphasize this aspect on social media to influence public perception of the call.
