Aaron Wood, a 34-year-old drama professor at North Central Texas College (NCTC), was arrested by the Denton County Sheriff’s Office last week for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages and photos to an individual he believed was a 14-year-old boy via Snapchat. The incident occurred on May 22 when Wood messaged an undercover agent from the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida. According to the arrest affidavit, Wood is charged with solicitation of a minor via computer and transmission of harmful material to minors. NCTC confirmed his arrest and stated that he was no longer employed as of September 25, 2026, ensuring there was no involvement with any school staff or students in the alleged offense.
