On September 24, Abdul Rasheed, aged 26, called 911 from a Red Lobster restaurant in Douglasville, Georgia to fake a medical emergency and avoid paying his bill of $63. When police arrived, they found Rasheed unharmed but unwilling to pay the tab. As a result, Douglasville police arrested him and charged him with theft of services, unlawful conduct during a 911 call, and making a false report. Rasheed was later booked into the Douglas County Jail on September 25 with bonds totaling $4,500, reflecting the severity of his actions.
