A residential building collapsed in Delhi on Sunday, killing at least three people and trapping dozens of students inside. The five-storey building, called Hostel Daze, housed mostly students from Delhi University, who were thought to be in their rooms when it came down around 13:30 local time (08:00 GMT). At the time of the collapse, there were reports of construction work going on in the basement. Rescuers searched the rubble for survivors, with at least nine people rescued and five taken to a hospital in critical condition. An adjacent building was also evacuated as a precaution due to fears it could also collapse.
