Quick Summary

Ben Terris, a reporter for New York Magazine, spent 90 minutes with Donald Trump discussing the construction of the new White House ballroom. During their conversation, Trump claimed that the ballroom is being built with "nuclear concrete" strong enough to withstand a nuclear blast. The project has already employed hundreds of workers and is underway in the White House. Terris's account provides a firsthand look at Trump's motivations for building the ballroom, which he believes will serve as a lasting monument to himself after he leaves office.
