On Sunday night, a horrific head-on collision occurred on Abbott Street in Monterey County, California, resulting in the deaths of three young college students: Abigail Tinoco, a UCLA student and aspiring lawyer; Sebastian Burgos, an 18-year-old biology major at UC Santa Cruz who dreamed of becoming a veterinarian; and Noah Trevino, also 18 years old. The crash involved a black Nissan Altima traveling southbound and a white Honda CR-V that entered the opposite lane, causing the collision. Six people were in the two vehicles, with three surviving passengers taken to Natividad Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. One survivor from each car was aged 20 or 21, while another was an 18-year-old Nissan passenger. The incident left families devastated; Tinoco's family has set up a GoFundMe page to help cover funeral and unexpected expenses.
