On Tuesday, Pakistan successfully tested an extended version of its indigenously developed Fatah-IV ground-launched cruise missile. The military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), announced that the weapon system is equipped with advanced avionics and navigational aids, capable of engaging targets at long distances with high precision. Senior army officers, along with scientists and engineers from the developing agency, witnessed the test. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and other service chiefs praised those involved for their technical expertise and dedication to achieving this milestone. In May, a previous successful test fire of the Fatah-IV was also conducted by the Army Rocket Force Command.
