A 9-year-old girl named Khloe Thompson from California started making care bags with her great-grandmother after seeing a homeless woman on the street. She began sewing tote bags filled with basic personal-care items to give to women experiencing homelessness. As the project grew, they founded the nonprofit organization "Khloe Kares" in 2015. Since then, Khloe Kares has distributed more than 5,000 Kare Bags, each containing essential supplies like toiletries and other necessities. The organization aims not only to provide immediate aid but also to raise awareness about homelessness and support women as they seek stable housing.
