In San Francisco, a home that was at the center of a grisly murder case in 2018 is back on the market with bids nearing $1 million. The property, located near Clara and Fifth streets, previously housed Brian Egg, whose torso was found floating in a fish tank after he mysteriously disappeared. Eight years later, despite being mostly empty since Egg's death, it has become a spot for squatters and homeless individuals, leading to over 100 complaints from neighbors to the city. According to his neighbor Wilma Parker DePavloff, Egg was known for helping those in need; she mentioned that he often brought people back home from St. Anthony’s dining hall, where he regularly ate lunch, due to having three bedrooms available. The current bid stands at $925,000 with an estimated sale price range of $1 million to $1.5 million.
