Tom Pidcock was left "mad" after two of his team-mates, Marcel Camprubi and Thomas Gloag, were hit by a police vehicle traveling the wrong way during the Tre Valli Varesine race in Varese, Italy. The incident occurred with six laps to go before the finish circuit. While Camprubi was able to continue racing, Gloag had to stop due to injuries requiring stitches on his knee. Despite the disruption, Pidcock finished second at the one-day event, which was won by Belgium's Jarno Widar in a sprint finish. Race organizers and local police have not yet provided comments regarding the incident.
