As of September 7, 2026, Israeli airstrikes on the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Rumman killed at least 11 people, including two children and two medics, according to Lebanon's state news agency. The attack occurred just after midnight when warplanes struck a residential building, killing nine individuals, followed by a drone strike that hit a civilian vehicle, resulting in the deaths of two more. At least seven people were killed in Israeli strikes on the previous day, Sunday. Since Hezbollah launched rockets at Israel on March 2, 4,300 people have been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in June, intended to halt hostilities between Israeli military and Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, Israel has continued its bombardment of southern Lebanon.
