Story summary

Nick Dal Santo stepped down as the AFLW senior coach of St Kilda, following an 0-8 start to the season that included their lowest-ever score of just one point against the Bulldogs on October 3rd. The club confirmed his decision and will conduct an independent review of its women’s program. In a statement, St Kilda CEO Carl Dilena thanked Dal Santo for leading the team to its first finals appearance last season but acknowledged the need for change after six seasons of leadership. Dal Santo will coach one final game against Collingwood before leaving his post.
