Journey drummer Deen Castronovo suffered a medical emergency during the band's concert at Tulsa’s BOK Center in Oklahoma on Thursday night, leading to his hospitalization. The incident occurred after the band played their second song when Castronovo was helped off stage by band members. Keyboardist Jonathan Cain addressed the audience, asking for prayers and indicating uncertainty about the situation's outcome. Guitarist Neal Schon later returned to inform the crowd that Castronovo had been hospitalized but provided a hopeful update suggesting he would be fine. The show continued with drum tech Steve Toomey taking over on drums for the remainder of the performance, with no additional information released regarding Castronovo's condition.
