Jayden Daniels, the quarterback for the Washington Commanders, is set to return from injury in their Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants on Sunday at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. Daniels missed the past two games due to a dislocated left elbow but participated fully in practice and will wear a black brace that keeps his elbow slightly bent. Despite concerns about his readiness, Coach John Harbaugh of the Giants emphasized preparing as if Daniels were 100 percent healthy. The Commanders' top receivers, Terry McLaurin and Stefon Diggs, are also dealing with hamstring injuries, adding another layer of uncertainty to Washington's offense. On Sunday, Daniels led an early touchdown drive against the Giants, completing several passes and showing no apparent distress from his injury in rainy conditions.
