The 2026 Royal Parks Half Marathon in London saw over 18,000 participants run through iconic landmarks like Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, starting near Buckingham Palace. The race route also included views of the London Eye and a second pass along The Mall. Since its launch in 2008, the event has raised over £80 million for more than 1,900 UK charities. This year's race set a new record with nearly 1.33 million entries for the ballot of the London Marathon 2027, highlighting the growing popularity of mass-participation running events in the city. Notably, the event continues its commitment to sustainability with initiatives such as compostable cups and FSC-certified wooden medals. British runners Sam Brashaw and Celia Anton won the men’s and women’s races respectively, finishing in times of 01:09:30 and 01:14:10.
