Story summary

On September 26, a Hong Kong singer named Hacken Lee was supposed to perform at a concert called "Hear Yourself" in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, as part of his tour featuring six celebrated singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan. However, due to unforeseen circumstances—his flight landed in Taiyuan because of hail—Lee missed the start of the event. His team traveled 570km by taxi but encountered an electric vehicle malfunction en route, further delaying Lee's arrival.

In a remarkable turn of events, a local grassroots singer named Hou stepped up to save the day, rushing via taxi and shared bicycle to perform an impromptu two-hour set with no rehearsal or teleprompter. This act earned her instant fame in China for her quick thinking and performance skills under pressure.
