A 7-month-old girl named Kalayia Tolbert died after a high-speed police chase involving a driver with a suspended license ended in a 10-car crash on Interstate 20 near Atlanta, Georgia. The chase began when Georgia State Patrol troopers spotted an Audi sedan speeding at 110 mph in a 60 mph zone, with its headlights off and weaving dangerously through traffic. As police attempted to pull the car over, it briefly stopped before accelerating again, leading to the pursuit. The driver, identified as Cameron Gabriel Kemp, 33, crashed while trying to exit the highway, causing multiple collisions that included a vehicle carrying three infants. Kalayia Tolbert sustained fatal injuries and later died in hospital. The Georgia Department of Public Safety stated their commitment to investigating the incident thoroughly.
