On October 13, 2026, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at around 6:30 a.m., carrying a robotic Dragon capsule on a 53-hour journey to the International Space Station (ISS). What captured people's attention was not the launch itself, but an unusual phenomenon known as a "space jellyfish." This occurs when the rocket’s engines expel water vapor and carbon dioxide; at high altitudes, the temperature drops rapidly, causing the water vapor to freeze into ice crystals that trail behind the rocket, resembling a bluish-white blob in the sky. Families along the East Coast witnessed this spectacular sight early in the morning.
