Kai Trump, the 19-year-old granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, underwent wrist surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York after sustaining an injury during her first college golf tournament. Kai, a freshman at the University of Miami and member of the women’s golf team, shared on Instagram that she made the decision with support from her family, coaches, and medical staff to prioritize her long-term health and future career in golf. The surgery was necessary despite her initial hope to avoid it. Recovery is expected to take time but Kai expressed gratitude for her supporters who encourage her through this challenge.
