Jaguars president Mark Lamping announced on October 14, 2026, that the team plans to play all of its 2028 home games in Jacksonville, following a $1.4 billion renovation of their stadium set for completion by then. The Jaguars have been playing an annual game at Wembley Stadium since 2013 but may end this practice after the upcoming 2026 London game against the Houston Texans, their 16th such match. Lamping indicated that the economic incentives for continuing to play in London have diminished, suggesting the renovated stadium will be ready for a full slate of home games starting in 2028. Construction on the new stadium has already begun with EverBank Stadium operating at reduced capacity during the current season.
