Story summary

On September 18, India's women's cricket team refused to accept the Women’s Asia Cup trophy from Mohsin Naqvi, who is both a Pakistani interior minister and chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Despite this refusal, BCCI Vice President Rajeev Shukla stated that Naqvi did not object to India's decision. The BCCI had earlier warned the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) about their stance regarding accepting trophies from Naqvi due to strained diplomatic relations between India and Pakistan.
