Cordarrelle Patterson, a former four-time Pro Bowl running back and kick return specialist for teams including the Minnesota Vikings, was arrested on October 21, 2026, after his wife alleged he grabbed her hair and left arm, leaving bruises. The incident occurred in Sevier County, Tennessee. According to TMZ, Patterson's wife called 911, and responding officers found bruising consistent with the claims. Patterson was released on a $1,000 bond and was photographed smiling during his mugshot session at the Sevier County jail. Patterson, who is the all-time leader in kick returns for touchdowns with nine, had been playing most recently for the Pittsburgh Steelers before being released in 2025. He married Taylor Quick in July 2024, and they share three children together.
