On February 8, 2026, a two-year-old toddler named Vincent Lorenzo Fiordilino from Gilbert, Arizona, was found floating face down in a backyard swimming pool during a Super Bowl party and rushed to Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. Dr. Aryan Toosi pronounced him dead just 18 minutes after arrival, despite the parents' protests. The toddler was sent to a morgue but was discovered alive and moving five hours later by a medical transport worker at the facility. Vincent's parents, Alexus and Angelo Fiordilino, are now blaming the hospital staff for dismissing their concerns about his condition and claim that he suffered severe brain damage due to negligence.
