In October 2025, John Green, a longtime West Hampstead resident and window cleaner, passed away from what was suspected to be a heart attack near the overground station on his 64th birthday. His daughters, Mercedes Green (20) and Tuesday Green (36), accused local man Andrew Carroll of being responsible for their father's death. Between October and December 2025, they allegedly stalked Carroll at his flat in West Hampstead, leaving a severed pig’s head on his car and sending threatening messages. The two women were charged with stalking causing fear of violence when they appeared before Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court. Prosecutor Annabel Allum detailed seven incidents over two months that escalated from photos to the placement of a wreath and finally, the severed pig's head on Carroll’s vehicle. Mercedes and Tuesday Green denied the charges.
