The Iran-backed Houthi militia in Yemen is using revelations from the Jeffrey Epstein files to launch a propaganda campaign against Saudi Arabia, aiming to undermine the kingdom’s leadership amid renewed conflict between them. The Houthis have highlighted reports that associates of the Saudi royal court sent tapestries, which once covered the Kaaba (Islam's holiest site in Mecca), to Epstein's private island in the Caribbean. In a February address, Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi accused the U.S. and Israel of training elites through "Zionist incubators," referencing Epstein’s alleged connections. This campaign comes after Saudi Arabia recently accused the Houthis of attempting to provoke Muslims by firing a drone at Mecca; however, the militia denied this charge and countered with their own allegations about Epstein.
