Game 6 of the WNBA Finals between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries was played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Thursday, October 29, starting at 12:30 p.m. ET (9:30 a.m. PT). This unusual timing caused controversy among fans, with many criticizing the league for scheduling a potential championship-deciding game during lunch hours to avoid conflict with an NBA game that was originally scheduled for the same arena later that evening.
