A Hong Kong High Court sentenced a 31-year-old former university student to seven years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting five women between January and August 2023, including incidents at orientation camps at Education University of Hong Kong (EdU) in Tai Po. The court found the defendant guilty of one count of rape, voyeurism, and three indecent assault charges. Despite denying the allegations, the jury accepted evidence from the victims who testified during his trial while he was a fourth-year student at EdU.
