As Torontonians prepare for Thanksgiving, several businesses and government services in Toronto are set to close or adjust their hours over the long weekend starting from October 12, 2020. The Line 2 Bloor-Danforth subway will be closed between Kipling and Jane stations until 6 a.m., while shuttle buses will replace regular train service between St. George and Broadview stations until 11 a.m. due to maintenance on the Prince Edward Viaduct. All Toronto Public Library branches, as well as Service Canada and Service Ontario locations, will be closed on both Sunday and Monday. Banks will also be shut down, though some ATMs may still be accessible. The LCBO and Beer Store locations will not operate on Monday. Additionally, residential curbside garbage collection remains unaffected.
